Precious Metals Futures Settle Lower

IBTtimes reported precious metals trading on the COMEX settled lower, including platinum.

As quoted in the market news:

Platinum and palladium futures finished in the red as well, by 0.3% at $1,413.60 per ounce and 1.3% at $617.70 per ounce.

The declines in precious metals coincided with a modest loss in the euro currency, which fell 0.3% to 1.3006 against the U.S. dollar this afternoon.
