Minweb reported Pan African Resources (LSE:PAF,JSE:PAN) has commenced cold commissioning of its Phoenix chromite tailings retreatment plant.

As quoted in the market news,

Located on the southern portion of the Western Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex, Phoenix owns the rights to exploit platinum group metals tailings from chromite mining.

Total resources spread over Phoenix’s three tailings locations are 4,646,000 tonnes at an average grade of 3.15g/t for 469,000 ounces of PGM 4E – platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold.
