Mining Weekly reported as South Africa stocks dropped on Wednesday, Pan African Resources (LSE:PAF) rose and Lonmin (LSE:LMI) regained some its losses earlier this week.

Pan African Resources’ shares rose 2.27% to R2.24 after the firm said its full-year profit likely rose 82% to 92% in rand terms. The Africa-focused precious metals miner runs mines in South Africa and Mozambique.
Johannesburg shares of Lonmin Plc recovered from a string of steep losses to add 0.34% to R84.80.
