Lonmin Ramping Up Platinum Mine

Mineweb reported Lonmin (LSE:LMI) is preparing ramps for vertical shafts at its Marikana mine in the Western Bushveld complex.

As quoted in the market news:

The three shafts in ramp up are the K4, Saffy and Hossy shafts. The K4 is in the western area of the operations called Karee mine and the other two are more centrally positioned in the Middelkraal area.
