Vladimir Potanin Raises Norilsk Stake to 30%

Reuters Africa reported that investor Vladimir Potanin has increased his stake in Norilsk Nickel from 25% to 30%.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Norilsk, the world’s largest nickel and palladium producer, is at the centre of a power struggle between Potanin and [Oleg] Deripaska.
