Mineweb reported Stillwater Mining (NYSE:SWC,TSX:SWC) says it is on track for 500,000 ounces of platinum and palladium for the rest of the year despite a drop in production for the second quarter.
Mineweb reported Stillwater Mining (NYSE:SWC,TSX:SWC) says it is on track for 500,000 ounces of platinum and palladium for the rest of the year despite a drop in production for the second quarter.
As quoted in the market news:
For the first half of this year, total mined production was 254,200 ounces, down from 273,800 ounces for the first six months of 2011.
Total mined production for the second quarter of this year totaled 133,400 ounces, down from 142,700 ounces for the second-quarter of 2011.
