Scepticism greets Japanese synthetic palladium claim

Mining Weekly.com reports that recent news from Japan that they have created sythentic palladium have met a dubious audience.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

The Japanese researchers also claim the alloy’s more feasible possible potential as a catalyst, but again there is nothing to substantiate the idea that it may be a commercially viable alternative to existing technologies
