Unigold Inc. (TSXV:UGD) reported that drilling at the Candelones Connector Zone identified continuous, near-surface gold mineralization at the Neita Concession in the Dominican Republic. The current drilling at Candelone Main and Candelones Extension is scheduled to be complete by the end of June.

Highlights include:
- DCZ 24 74.0 metres averaging 1.33 g/t Au including 13.0 metres averaging 3.78 g/t Au;
- DCZ 25 36.5 metres averaging 1.07 g/t Au;
- DCZ 26 26.0 metres averaging 1.18 g/t Au; and
- DCZ 28 5.0 metres averaging 2.52 g/t Au.
