As quoted in the press release:
Record high mill throughput, together with the benefit of high-grade material deferred from last year, underpinned the quarter’s results.
Richard Young, president and CEO of Teranga, commented:
We are pleased that 2016 is off to a strong start with record first quarter production and one of our best quarters ever. The solid start to the year puts us on track to meeting our full year production guidance of 200,000 to 215,000 ounces.
