Randgold Resources Ltd. (LSE:RRS,NASDAQ:GOLD) released its report for the third quarter of 2015, commenting that it produced 305,288 ounces of gold, up more than 5,000 ounces from the previous quarter.
Randgold Resources Ltd. (LSE:RRS,NASDAQ:GOLD) released its report for the third quarter of 2015, commenting that it produced 305,288 ounces of gold, up more than 5,000 ounces from the previous quarter.
The company remains debt free and during the quarter saw its net cash increase from $109 million to $168 million. Chief Executive Mark Bristow has praised that performance, noting that the gold price fell 6 percent during the period.
Bristow also said:
The gold mining industry is severely stressed and Randgold is certainly not immune to the pressure. Â Relative to our peers, however, we are still doing well. Â We have a proven strategy against which we constantly test our businesses, and we are relentless in our drive to deliver on our plans.
