Nexus Gold Corp. (TSXV:NXS) announced that the Mountain City district ranger has approved two additional drill pads at the Walker Ridge project in Nevada. The Walker Ridge Gold Project is located directly between and adjacent to both the Jerritt Canyon mine & mill complex, and the Big Springs deposit.
As quoted in the press release:
The additional drill pads have been added to the previously approved Walker Ridge Exploration Plan of Operation. The project now has eight drill pads approved for the current program. The first additional drill pad location is 50 meters west of hole DDH-01 which is currently being drilled. It borders the left side of the resistive high septum as identified by the CSAMT survey performed in 2012. The second additional drill pad is located in cluster four, the largest of the Vital GeoSURVEY clusters located on the eastern section of the property closest to the valley floor.
