McEwen Mining Increases Production by 31 Percent in Q1

McEwen Mining Inc. (NYSE:MUX, TSX:MUX) announced operational updates from the first quarter, and is on pace to produce 130,000 gold equivalent ounces this year.

As quoted in the press release:

Gold equivalent production increased by 31% to 29,839 ounces (17,001 gold ounces and 667,555 silver ounces) versus Q1, 2012.
