Crescent Gold Limited (TSX:CRA)(ASX:CRE)(FRANKFURT:CRE5) announced the appointment of Mr. Geoff Stanley as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company effective immediately.
The press release is quoted as saying:
Mr. Stanley will replace Mr. Roland Hill, who previously held both the Chairman and Managing Director roles. The change was effected as part of the Company’s focus on corporate governance Mr. Hill will continue to serve in his capacity as the Company’s Managing Director. Geoff Stanley’s career in the mining industry spans over 25 years, including 15 years based in New York in mining finance, analytical and mining advisory capacities. He has been a director of Crescent Gold since December 2006.
