ESO Uranium Corp. (TSXV:ESO) announced that drilling has commenced at the Patterson Lake South Property, a joint venture with Fission Energy (TSXV:FIS), where ESO is the operator of the JV.
As quoted in the press release:
The initial drill locations selected target shallow basement mineralization along the down-ice flanks of resistivity targets, close to areas of apparent crosscutting structures that are flagged by discontinuities and flexures in the conductors. The positioning of drill target locations has been made following analysis of the data obtained from recent geophysical surveys. The Patterson Geophysical work is being conducted to confirm historic ground EM conductor positions accurately and to test those EM conductors and areas of magnetic lows in the area for resistivity targets. The resistivity targets could reflect the type of alteration surrounding uranium mineralization.
