California Gold Mining Inc. (TSXV:CGM) announced new assay results from its recently completed Phase II drill program at its Fremont Project in Mariposa County, California. The drilling program was completed on time and under budget, and highlights included 56.1 M grading and 2.47 g/t gold.
As quoted in the press release:
The Phase II drill program commenced on December 17, 2013 and drilling was concluded on January 29, 2014. During the program, four PQ-sized diamond holes were drilled totalling 568 meters (1,862 ft). The main objective of the Phase II drill program was to generate sufficient representative material from each of the three metallurgical domains that have recently been identified at the Fremont Property, in order to initiate Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)-level metallurgical testing. The results of the metallurgical test-work are expected to be received by the end of May, 2014.
