Banro Corporation Produces 19,347 Ounces of Gold at Twangiza in Q2

Banro Corporation (NYSE:BAA,AMEX:BAA,TSX:BAA) announced production for the second quarter provided an operations update for its Twangiza Gold Mine and Namoya construction project in the DRC.

As quoted in the press release:

Twangiza produced 19,347 ounces of gold for the second quarter of 2013, which is in line with expectations as Twangiza continued to undergo its planned expansion to increase future throughput and recovery.
