Helio Resource Corp.(TSXV:HRC) announced that drilling has commenced at its Damara Gold project. The Company have begun drilling at the Gold Kop target on the Namibian property. The 2011 drill program returned positive results including the discovery of Navachab- style gold mineralization.

As quoted in the press release:
The current work, part of a planned 6,000m programme of reverse circulation (RC) drilling, will test recently discovered gold-in-soil soil anomalies close to the area of previous drilling.
