Trading Markets reports the recent news release on Pinetree Capital acquiring ownership of 5 million common shares and 2.5 million common share purchase warrants of Galena Capital.
According to Pinetree Capital, in the event that the warrants are fully exercised, these holdings represent approximately 8.7% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Galena as of May 21, 2010, calculated on a partially diluted basis. As a result of this transaction, Pinetree and its joint actors collectively held, as at May 21, 2010, an aggregate of 9.8 million common shares of Galena Capital.
