Tin Consumption to Increase 2% Worldwide This Year, Timah Says

Bloomberg reports that Timah (JAK:TINS) says worldwide consumption of tin will increase two percent this year.

The market news is quoted as saying,

The company’s refined-metal production dropped 5.4 percent to 18,455 metric tons during 2011’s first six months compared with the year before, the Pangkalpinang, Indonesia-based company said today in a statement accompanying first-half results.
