Indonesia Considering Tin Export Restrictions if Mining Rush Develops

Mineweb.com reports that Indonesian officals may impose tin export restrictions if high tin prices create a mining rush.

The editorial is quoted as saying:

 The trade ministry will also revoke export permits from tin smelters which have not exported the metal or have been idle for years, the officials said.
