Terrane Shareholders Approve Transaction With Thompson Creek

Terrane Metals Corp. (TSXV:TRX) announced that at a special meeting held today, Terrane shareholders approved the previously announced acquisition of Terrane by Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. pursuant to a plan of arrangement.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The special resolution was approved by 99% of the votes cast by security holders entitled to vote on the resolution. Under the terms of the Arrangement, Terrane shareholders will receive C$0.90 in cash and 0.052 of a Thompson Creek share per Terrane share.
