Peru Reports Lower August Moly Output

Platts reported that in August, Peru’s molybdenum production sank year-over-year, as did its copper, tin and gold output. Meanwhile, the country’s silver, lead and zinc production rose.

As quoted in the market news:

Molybdenum production edged down 3.2% to 1,555 mt on declines at Antamina and Cerro Verde during August, according to the ministry.
