The news release states:
Revenue increased as a result of higher coal shipments, which more than offset lower realized coal prices compared with a year earlier. Western anticipates a further increase in sales volume and, based on recently completed price negotiations, significantly higher coal prices for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 compared with a year earlier.
