Australia Newcastle Thermal Coal Rises 1.3% to $122.45 a Ton

Bloomberg reported that thermal coal prices at the Newcastle coal terminal were up 1.3% in today’s trading.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Coal prices at the New South Wales port rose to $122.45 a metric ton from $120.90 the previous week, according to the globalCOAL NEWC Index.
