    Platts reported that the global operations headquarters of Peabody Energy (NYSE:BTU) will be relocated to Brisbane.

    Platts reported that the global operations headquarters of Peabody Energy (NYSE:BTU) will be relocated to Brisbane.

    As quoted in the market news:

    Peabody Energy’s executive vice-president and chief operating officer positions are to move from St Louis in Missouri, US, to Brisbane, capital of Queensland state, the company said in the statement posted on its website.

    Peabody’s Chairman, Gregory Boyce said:

    The strategic move of the office of our chief operating officer recognizes the large and growing contributions of the Australia platform to our business.
