Ukraine Coal Mine Explosion Kills 16 Miners, Nine Missing

Platts reported that an explosion at a Ukraine coal mine has killed 16 miners, with more still missing.

The market news is quoted as saying:

A special government commission, led by the energy and coal industry minister Yuriy Boyko, has been set up to investigate the accident. Ukraine’s Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is also expected to visit the site of the accident.
