Richards Bay Coal Terminal Ships Record 70.2 Million MT in 2013
Bloomberg reported that South Africa’s Richards Bay Coal Terminal shipped a record 70.2 million metric tons (MT) in 2013, up from 68.3 million MT in the year-ago period.

As quoted in the market news:
‘In 2013 RBCT has, for the first time, received and exported more than 70 million tons of coal,’ it said.
RBCT handles coal from mines owned by companies including Glencore Xstrata Plc (GLEN), Anglo American Plc (AAL) and BHP Billiton Ltd. The facility has capacity to ship 91 million tons annually.
