Raspadskaya Will Spend $1 Billion to Double Coal Production

Bloomberg reported that OAO Reaspadskaya is investing $1 billion to double its output.

The mine will produce 2.5 million tons of coal this year, boosting Raspadskaya’s overall output 19 percent to 8.5 million tons.
