The story is quoted as saying:
Western Coal Corp. (TSX:WTN). Mining. Up 24 cents, or 2.07 per cent, at $11.84 on 11,604,219 shares. Late last week the Vancouver-based miner announced completion of an arrangement under which it will be acquired by U.S. coal producer Walter Energy (NYSE:WLT) in a deal that values it at $3.3 billion. Walter, which recently became Western Coal’s largest shareholder, is offering to buy the remaining stock for $11.50 per share in cash or stock.
