According to Coalguru.com, the Jakarta Post reported that PT Medco Energi InternaSional (FWB:MEF) intends to increase its coal production next year. The company is planning to launch is Duta Tambang Sumber Alam (DTSA) mine.
According to Coalguru.com, the Jakarta Post reported that PT Medco Energi InternaSional (FWB:MEF) intends to increase its coal production next year. The company is planning to launch is Duta Tambang Sumber Alam (DTSA) mine.
As quoted in the publication:
According to Medco corporate secretary Mr Imron Gazali, the DTSA mine will begin production in the Q4 of 2014 or next year at the latest. Mr Imron said that “The initial production volume for DTSA is set at 300,000 tonne per year.” Production from the DTSA mine will increase Medco’s coal production, which currently comes from its Duta Tambang Rekayasa (DTR) mine. At present, DTR produces 600,000 tonne to 700,000 tonne of coal per year.
