Emissions Regulations to Hamper Coal Demand

Paragon Report released research on Peabody Energy Corporation (NYSE:BTU) and James River Coal Company (NASDAQ:JRCC), and the coal industry outlook.

As quoted in the press release:

The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity said the move will drive up energy prices and hurt job creation by discouraging use of U.S. coal resources that provide affordable electricity. Previous actions by the EPA have played a major role in the closure of 140 coal plants across the U.S.
