The Vancouver Sun reported that COAL, a documentary centering on the debate as to whether coal export terminals should be built in the Pacific Northwest, premiered on Wednesday night.

As quoted in the market news:

In COAL, young environmental activists, crab fishermen, longshoremen, ranchers, miners and locals from Wyoming to Bellingham share their views in the film, in which Campbell purposely omitted any politicians and their views.

‘What I found interesting about this topic was not the kind of posturing of government officials and politicians,’ [multimedia journalist Katie Campbell] said. ‘That’s interesting on some level, but for me it’s the human coast it’s the personal stories.’
