Coal India Workers Call Off Strike

The Times of India reported that a five day strike by Coal India (NSE:COALINDIA) unionized workers has been called off following a long meeting with India’s coal minister.

As quoted in the publication:

Five unions ended the strike late Wednesday after talks with the coal minister who promised jobs would not be lost during the government’s moves to open up the market to private companies.
