Coal-Fired Plants in Indonesia To Purchase 63 Million Tons Coal in 2012

Bloomberg reported that Indonesia’s coal-fired power plants are expected to buy 10% more coal than originally forecast for this year.

As quoted in the market news:

Indonesia will need an estimated 57.3 million tons of coal in the country’s power plants this year, said Helmi Najamuddin, head of the coal division at Jakarta-based PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara, in an interview yesterday.
