The Ontario-based miner plans to export coal produced at the mines of South Africa’s Slater Coal (Pty Limited, in which it has just obtained a 53.5% majority stake. Slater Coal has a 70% interest in Zinoju Coal (Pty) Limited, which hold a 100% interest in the Magdalena bituminous and Aviemore anthracite mines in the Klip River coalfield in KwaZulu Natal.
