Arch Coal’s West Elk Mine Earns Three Colorado Awards for Safety and Environmental Responsibility

Arch Coal Inc. (NYSE:ACI) announced that its subsidiary West Elk received awards for safety and environmental performance at the National Western Mining Conference and Exhibition.

The press release is quoted as saying:

West Elk also was recognized by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for outstanding reclamation of an abandoned 1934 mining site.
