Highbank Resources Reports Progress on Archeological Survey and Swamp Point North Aggregate Project Permitting
Highbank Resources Ltd. (TSXV:HBK,FWB:V7O) reported on the progress of the resubmission of documentation for a Notice of Work Permit for its Swamp Point North project, and also provided an update on an archaeological preliminary field reconnaissance (PFR) that was conducted on the project: no archaeological materials, features or areas of archaeological potential were identified within the Development Area.
As quoted in the press release:
On July 26, 2013 Kleanza Consulting Ltd. (“Kleanza”) of Terrace conducted an archaeological preliminary field reconnaissance (“PFR”) of the Phase 1 development area for Highbank’s proposed Swamp Point North aggregate quarry development (the “Development Area”). Kleanza reported: “No archaeological materials, features or areas of archaeological potential were identified within the Development Area. No further archaeological survey or monitoring work is recommended for the proposed DA, provided Highbank does not significantly amend the DA boundaries”.
DMT Geosciences Ltd. (formerly Associated GeoSciences), with the assistance of Mr. Eric Beresford, P.Eng., has now provided Highbank with a revised mine and management plan. The text and maps/drawings encompasses the scope of work discussed and addresses the concerns raised by MEM. Micon International Limited is reviewing and compiling all the data and will be preparing the revised Notice of Work (“NoW”) application for submission shortly.
