Zimbabwe to Nationalize Mines

Reuters Africa reports that Zimbabwe is planning to obtain stakes in foreign-owned diamond mines currently operating in the country.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Zimbabwe’s government announced last year it would nationalise all alluvial diamond mines in Marange, in the east of the country.
