Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSX:SWY) announced the addition of its company to the Standard & Poor’s Canadian Index Operations.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The new additions to the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index were made public by Standard & Poor’s Canadian Index Operations on September 9, 2011 following their annual index review.
Stornoway’s President and CEO, Matt Manson says:
“The addition of Stornoway to the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index is another important step in our corporate development” “Our inclusion will increase Stornoway’s exposure to a broader range of potential investors and enhance trading liquidity.”
