Stellar Diamonds plc (LSE:STEL) released an updated corporate presentation that highlights the progress that has been made on the “defined development programmes for its two core projects.” Those are the Tongo project and the kimberlite pipe at Baoulé, both of which have near-term production potential.

As quoted in the press release:

A bulk sampling programme is currently underway at Stellar’s flagship 1.1 million carat resource Tongo project, a high grade kimberlite asset in Sierra Leone, for which initial results are expected in February 2014, with the intention of delivering a Definitive Feasibility Study in H2 2014. In addition, the Company is looking to undertake an evaluation programme for its second core project, a kimberlite pipe at Baoulé, located in Guinea’s most renowned diamond district, with the target of generating an inferred diamond resource of at least three million carats for the pipe.
