Russia May Cut Stake in Diamond Miner Alrosa to 50%

Bloomberg reports that Russia’s Finance Ministry may cut it’s share in OAO Alrosa (RTC:ALNU) to 50 percent in three years.

The market news is quoted as saying,

The state owns about 91 percent of Alrosa, including stakes held by regional governments, the company’s website shows. The Finance Ministry earlier proposed selling a 10 percent stake in Alrosa, RIA said.
