Mountain Province Snubs Potential Diamond Suitors

Mining Weekly reports Mountain Province Diamonds (AMEX:MDM) has received interest from companies.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Earlier, Mountain Province said “unsolicited expressions of interest”, sent its shares up by nearly 4%.

Mountain Province’s CEO, Patrick Evans says,

The interest we received was generally of a takeover nature – companies interested in acquiring control of Mountain Province.
