Lucara Recovers First Diamonds From Karowe

Mining Weekly reported Lucara Diamond (TSX:LUC,TSXV:LUC) closed a $25-million revolving credit facility to fund development and operations at its Karowe diamond mine in Botswana.

As quoted in the market news:

This comes as the Vancouver-based firm also announced first production from the mine, with over 5 300 ct recovered from ore mined from the upper benches of the North Lobe deposit.
