Lucara Receives Record Price for Lesotho Diamonds

Mining Weekly reported Lucara (TSX:LUC,TSXV:LUC) received a record price for diamonds recently retrieved from its Lesotho mine.

As quoted in the market news:

The 28 sale lots were offered on tender in Antwerp between December 5 and December 9 and all received multiple bids and winning offers resulted in an average price of $893/ct, an increase from Lucara’s first diamond sale earlier in the year, which fetched $871.70/ct.
