Jonathan Samkange, a lawyer for African Consolidated Resources of London, a London-based company, was summoned to a hearing after filing a suit in 2006 for the Zimbabwe government over rights to develop the Marange diamond.
According to Samkange, Zimbabwe wants to silence him for allegedly releasing information about the state’s illegal activities in the Marange field.
