Anglo American Completes Acquisition of De Beers

Forbes reported Anglo American (LSE:AAL) has acquired the remaining 40 percent shareholding in the De Beers Group from the Oppenheimer family.

As quoted in the market news:

This acquisition boostsAnglo American‘s ownership of De Beers to 85 percent. The remaining 15 percent of shares in the company is owned by the government of Botswana.
