Versant Partners reported Namibian mine raises investor concern and Energy Fuels (TSX:EFR) merges with Titan Uranium (TSXV:TUE).

Versant Partners reported Namibian mine raises investor concern and Energy Fuels (TSX:EFR) merges with Titan Uranium (TSXV:TUE).

As quoted in the press release,

The Chinese investment in Bannerman Resources (BAN-T) is hanging in the balance because of uncertainty over the “timing and conditions” of a mining licence for the Etango uranium project near Swakopmund, Namibia. The China Development Bank, which is expected to finance the Sichuan Hanlong Group’s $150.4 million bid for Bannerman, asked for additional due diligence into the proposed acquisition. The bank stated that it wanted to “gain certainty regarding the timing and conditions of a mining licence”, before agreeing to finance the deal.
