TradeTech put the value marginally lower at US$72.25/lb. Compared with the same period last year, the spot price has surged by US$30.00 as the market was particularly active over the past month. China’s ambitious nuclear programme combined with producers’ reports that they will not meet supply targets have led to a shift from a buyers’ market into a sellers’ market.
