Uranium Climbs in Past Week as Monthly Transactions Hit Record

Bloomberg.com reports uranium price climbs to $53.50 per pound according to Ux Consulting Company.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The monthly total at 5.6 million pounds of uranium traded on the spot market surpassed both March and August, Roswell, Georgia-based UxC said in a report e-mailed yesterday. The previous monthly record for transactions was 32 in May last year, it said.
