    Mining Weekly reported the United Nations tribunal has ruled in favor of Khan Resources (TSX:KRI) in a $200-million arbitration case against the government of Mongolia.

    Mining Weekly reported the United Nations tribunal has ruled in favor of Khan Resources (TSX:KRI) in a $200-million arbitration case against the government of Mongolia.

    As quoted in the market news:

    The UN Commission on International Trade Law ruled on matters of jurisdiction and has dismissed all of Mongolia’s objections to the continuation of the suit.

    Khan alleged that the government of Mongolia in concert with a Russian partner during 2009 took actions that amounted to the illegal expropriation of the company’s mining and exploration permits.
